Nikola (Nick) Gashi

Nick fills the critical role of Director of Safety and Quality Control for our field operations. Responsibilities include:

Safety

• Maintenance and compliance with all company safety procedures, including OSHA safety requirements
• Jobsite safety, including coordination with project owners, general contractors, and subcontractors to maintain a safe workspace
• Safety training of all field personnel
• Maintain ISN program to comply with our customer requirements, where needed

Quality Control

• Create weld procedures, as needed
• Interact with our Authorized Inspector to certify and qualify procedures
• Maintain Employee Weld Continuity Logs
• Inspect, verify, and document our automatic weld program
• Oversee weld test procedures

Prior to this role, Nick enjoyed an almost 20-year career as a pipefitter, progressing to the level of jobsite foreman.

Certifications/Memberships: Nick’s professional certifications include:

• Member of American Society of Safety Professionals
• RIT Safety and Health Specialist Certification
• RIT course completion for OSHA 500 and 510
• Authorized OSHA Trainer for 30 and 10 OSHA classes
• Completed Authorized Inspectors (AI) through National Board of Pressure Vessels
• Completed R Stamp coursework through National Board of Pressure Vessels
• Administered the National Board R Stamp Repair and Alteration Program
• CWI Certification in process

Additionally, Nick is a certified welder with multiple ASME credentials, including B31.1.
